North American Keller Maple
This material is the most popular wood and shell material with the world's top drummers, such as Travis Barker (Blink 182), Cyrus Bolooki (New Found Glory) Jerome Dillon (Nine Inch Nails) and John Otto (Limp Bizkit).
Maple generally gives slightly low boosted ends with smooth mid and high frequencies for all around applications. It gives a "warm" sound and even frequency response.
We offer a vast range of sizes from 10 inch to 14 inch in diameter and 3 inch to 8.5 inch in depth. Ply sizes are available in 10 ply, 20 ply, 30 ply, 40 ply and 50 ply.
Generally, it is said that the higher the number of plies, then the higher the tone. It is advised not to tighten a 10 ply to make it sound high as it will possibly damage the bearing edges. It is better to go for a 20ply for extra plies and strength and improved sound quality if you are looking for that high sound.
Acrylic
Acrylic is becoming more popular everyday it seems. This is because of two main reasons. Firstly, the looks! The see through/clear idea for a drum is always a hit and goes down well with any audience when on stage. The second is the sound. Acrylic is more similar to wood shells than people may think but it has a more dry focused tone and can be a tiny bit louder.
We offer shells in 10 inch to 14 inch and 3 inch to 8 inch. All shells are in ¼ inch thickness however the colourless/clear shell is available in ¼ inch and ½ inch thickness.
We can do colourless/clear, glitters, rain, pearls, transparent colours, stripes, spirals and others including walnut.
We also offer a sandblasting service where we can sandblast a design or pattern onto the drum for you like flames etc.
Segment Shells
We offer a huge selection of 183 different woods for our segment shells! These include Bubinga, African mahogany, Cherry, Rock Maple and Zebrawood just to name a few.
It is possible to mix two woods by having centre bands or highlight bands. These are where a different wood is used to the wood which most of the shell is made up of. Enquire for more details.
Sizes are available from 10 inch to 14 inch diameter and 3 inch to 8 inch in depth. The thicknesses available are 5/16 inch, 3/8 inch, 7/16 inch, ½ inch, ¾ inch, 1 inch.
Aluminium
This is an Aluminium alloy shell with a crisp and articulate sound. It is only available in 14" x 5.5" shell size and is 1/8 inch thick.

Extras
We can offer extras on our drums such as custom designs on our skins such as the picture on the right. These are only an additional ₤2.50 per skin. These designs are also available to be applied on our shells for added visual effects at no loss of sound quality. Prices vary depending on the design and complex required.
